Well it's been a long time coming... this upstairs guest bathroom re-model. We have pretty much been remodeling and updating our home on a steady basis for over 7 years now. One major project after another including the stuff that's not fun, just expensive... like re-plumbing and replacing the air conditioner. Suffice it to say, my demolition man has learned more than he ever wanted to about ripping rooms apart, so if you have any questions, just ask him!
And worse... inflicted it on our guests!
The man can do some ripping apart, I tell you!
Then he made his first mistake. He left the country for three weeks and left me in charge.
Poor guy never knows what he's coming home to!
Well, you can't give an artist a blank white wall and expect anything less.
New white tile, new tub, fabulous black cabinet with black granite top, roomy cabinet above the toilet (coming soon) and...
VOILE!
Welcome to our new bathroom!
(In case anyone was wondering what I've been up to!)
You’ve been doing house updates for almost 7 years? What’s taking so long? Slowly but surely, why not, right? Anyway, I like your black and white wall flower design. Now, I am inspired to renovate my room and paint my wall with blue butterflies!

this bathroom was so patient and waited it out
for seven years it sported a lower~lip~pout.
"what about me?" ~ oh my how this little room wept
as it's closed door hid the view from the top of the steps.
it watched from afar as each room got a lift
in hopes that one day it would, too, get the gift.
and so it's quite fitting for this bathroom of old ~
to join in the whimsey of the metz's household.
woohoo! wow! this bathroom is an exclamation point !
& so proud to be made over like the rest of the joint.
welcome, gorgeous bathroom, to my favorite b&b suite
i'll visit you soon ~ i can't wait til we meet : ))

I had forgotten that wallpaper in the old bathroom...you're right, eew. :-)) Having seen your fabulous Marimekko-inspired flowers up-close & personal recently, I can say are gorgeous and fit right in with the rest of the Chez Metz! Now go finish that other bathroom ceiling :-))
